Who we are

Every Phase, One Contractor

Most construction headaches aren't about craftsmanship — they're about handoffs. The framer blames the designer, the roofer blames the framer, and the homeowner carries a phone list nobody wants to answer. Masizo was built against that model. We've spent 28 years in Arizona as a single point of responsibility: one company that designs with you, pulls the permits, builds the structure, finishes the interior, and stands behind the result. The same discipline runs our restoration side — because a company that can rebuild your house is the right company to dry it out, and you shouldn't need two contracts to get from flood to finished drywall.

We're Masizo Development LLC — Arizona general contractor license AZ ROC #336058, Arizona restoration license AZ ROC #347030, and California license CA LIC #1107781 for select out-of-state projects. IICRC certified. Insured. BBB accredited, A+ rated. Those credentials are on every page of this site because they're the difference between a contractor and a guy with a truck.

How it works

From First Call to Final Walkthrough

  1. Walk it with us, free

Every project starts with a no-cost, on-site consultation. We look at the real conditions — not photos, not guesses — and listen to what you're actually trying to get out of the space.

  2. Get it in writing

You receive a detailed proposal: scope, timeline, and transparent pricing. No vague allowances, no hidden line items, no number that mysteriously grows once the walls are open without a conversation first.

  3. We carry it

Permits, city coordination, scheduling, trades, inspections, communication — our job, start to finish. Your job is decisions and walkthroughs. A bathroom runs weeks; a custom home runs months; either way, you'll know the plan before we swing a hammer.

Why Masizo

Why Homeowners Keep Our Number

  • 28 years in Arizona.

We started building here in 1998. The contractors who last this long in this market are the ones whose work holds up — and whose phone gets answered.

  • Three licenses, held in our own name.

Arizona general (AZ ROC #336058), Arizona restoration (AZ ROC #347030), California (CA LIC #1107781). Look them up — we'd rather you verify than take our word.

  • IICRC certified, insured, BBB A+.

The restoration industry's own certification standard, real insurance, and an accreditation that has to be earned and kept.

  • Real reviews, from real clients.

Our Google reviews are written by homeowners and trade partners we've actually worked with — read them in full, with names and links, on our testimonials page.

Good to know

Questions homeowners ask.

What areas does Masizo Development serve?

We're based in Gilbert and work across the East Valley and greater Phoenix metro — Gilbert, Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Tempe, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Fountain Hills, and Paradise Valley. We also take on select projects in California under our California contractor license (CA LIC #1107781). If you're near but not in one of those cities, call us; the answer is usually yes.

Are estimates really free?

Yes — and they start with a visit, not a phone guess. We come to your property, walk the project with you, and follow up with a written, no-obligation quote. You'll know the scope and the number before you commit to anything.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Masizo Development LLC holds an Arizona general contractor license (AZ ROC #336058), a separate Arizona restoration license (AZ ROC #347030), and a California contractor license (CA LIC #1107781). We're insured, IICRC certified for restoration work, and BBB accredited with an A+ rating.

How long will my project take?

It depends entirely on scope. A bathroom remodel is measured in weeks; a ground-up custom home is measured in months; everything else lands in between. What we promise on every job is a written timeline at the proposal stage — set before work starts, not discovered along the way.

What happens when I call about water, fire, or mold damage?

Restoration is an emergency line for us, not a scheduling queue — we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our IICRC-certified crew assesses the damage, stops it from spreading, documents everything, and works directly with your insurance company through mitigation and rebuild. One call at (602) 909-7630 starts it.

Do you handle the permits?

Always. Permit applications, plan review, coordination with city planning staff, scheduling inspections, and being on site when the inspector arrives — that's all part of what you hire a general contractor to carry. You will never be sent to a city counter to sort out your own project.
